I want to question art making, art showing, the art process, the life process, all processes. I want my art making to be less of a solitary activity, I don’t know if the white walled space is always the best bet, how about a Notion tour instead? I want to hear what people think about my work or to chat about it with strangers in intimate situations and I want big, wholesome, life-changing conversations around what others make.
With a friend, we experimented with finding answers to these questions when we were offered a cheap, massive ex-retail space in Central London which became Liquid Gold Studios. We converted it into open studios and a space to experience art, poetry, zines, halloween films, pickling and rap.

SKOWHEGAN ticks all of the ‘what I want to get out of life’ boxes. It feels pretty exciting.
